HUZZAH!!!

Yep, went to the Renaissance Faire out in Tuxedo, NY yesterday…it’s a Labor Day tradition for a group of us. This year I was about halfway in-garb…pics MIGHT be posted at a later date when we get them developed Grabbed myself some appropo black devil horns; checked out some incredibly gorgeous corsets…*sighs* they run between $150-300. NOT happening anytime soon unfortunately. I survived the 2-hour ride home in a vehicle with 4 men who had been drinking beer and/or mead, as well as eating stuff like steak-on-a-stake, turkey legs, beef jerky, italian sausage, giant pickles. Hell, if I can survive that ride, I can survive anything lmao. I, myself, gained about 5 pounds back, but what the heck….the RenFaire only comes once a year. But the already tight bodice I was wearing was about to burst by the end of the day. Mead…mmmm…sweet, yummy goodness!!!

• DoC Eldritch of DE Designs released this KILLER set for both the ladies and men loosley based on the Von Helsing movie. Oddly enough, this is the most recent movie I have watched and that was back in April so I was pretty excited about this. Yes, I live in a cave and that cave is called Second Life Anyway I absolutely LOVE this damn outfit…sexy and sophisticated. It’s one of those outfits I swear I am never taking off, and I did and WILL wear it for many days and nights to come. I’ll be honest, I was hot for wanting to do the whole Kate Beckinsale long, brown, flowing hair but DoC talked me into wearing Tami McCoy’s “Reckless” short, flexi-do and it’s really starting to grow on me

• Also released recently at DE is “Shawna”, which comes in black and color-washed. More deliciously sexy clubwear done tastefully (dunno why this one won’t thumbnail…omg n00b)…

 

 

• Next up! Alaska Metropolitan of OPIUM has been revamping some of her vendors and I was honored to help model for her. I was genuinely impressed with the end result, which you can catch a glimpse of below. She has also recently released SKIN 2.0 and has been adding new makeups. Check out a preview of “Smoke” which is maybe a week away from release still. Alaska has a diverse collection of clothes, skins and eyes available; as well as being a fabulous photographer. She took pics of me well over a year ago that still look fresh and exciting to this day. I URGE you to check out OPIUM, bookmark her blog, and keep an eye out for more. (And yet again, here is me in Tami McCoy’s “Reckless” hair *smiles*)

• Marching onward! Yes, yes, more pics of moi’ coming up. Hey, it’s MY blog!! Shiryu Musashi put together a portfolio for me for the newly created and very organized ASpiRE! modeling agency. Hopefully thumbnails will work for these because there are four (plus one that I can’t show ya’ll here cause it’s got boobies ) Thank you Shir, you make magic happen! *Edited to add: nope, no thumbnails working…someone wanna tell me what I am doing wrong?? LOL

• Lastly, but certainly not least..I was tipped off last night by a fellow ASpiRE! Model, Aunnia Wilberg, about this incredible outfit called “Legacy” from Solange Cerveau of Silk Raven. It’s 925L but WELL worth it for all the options included, and available in such a wide-range of colors that it was hard to choose. I went with the “black/silver” just due to the easy mixing and matching and event-versatility that such neutral colors provide. She also offers matching boots, however being the starving DJ that I am there are moments when I have to know when to say “when”…and typically those moments come into play when shoes are involved LOL. The hat, which I am LOVING, is from Sahara Tyne of “Nein!” I am not sure if either of these talented ladies have blogs or websites but please check them both out via SL’s “FIND”…errr, I mean “SEARCH”.
